Michel Dufour

• In 1964, Michel Dufour, sailing visionary and innovator, started his own ship yard.
• 1965 : Michel Dufour conceives the mythical Arpège of which more than 1500 units were built.

Through the years

• From 1986 : Launch of the Dufour 28, Dufour 32, Dufour 36, Dufour 37, Dufour 39 and Dufour 42
• Years 90 : Launch of the Prestige 54, Prestige 48, Prestige 56 and Prestige 65
• 1995 : Launch of the Classic range
• 1999 : The yard Dufour relaunches the brand Gib’Sea
• 2001 : Partnership with the famous Italian boatyard Cantiere Del Pardo
• 2002 : Launch of the Dufour 40 Performance, which is voted Sailing Yacht of the Year 2003 in France
• 2003 : Launch of the Dufour 34 Performance and Dufour 44 Performance. The Dufour 34 is voted European Sailing Yacht of the Year 2003
• 2004 : Launch of the Grand’Large blue-water cruisers
• 2005 : Launch of Dufour 365 and 455 in the highly successful Dufour 385 line
• 2006 : Launch of the Dufour 325, 425, 485 and 525
• 2008 : Launch Dufour 45E Performance and Dufour 34E Performance
• 2009 : Launch of the Dufour 405 Grand’Large and the Dufour 40 E Performance.
• 2010 : The Dufour 405 is awarded « European Yacht of the Year 2010 ». More adventures to follow...
