Sustainable sailing
Sailing means being in direct contact with the elements.
Understanding them. Respecting them.
With ODSEA+, Dufour affirms a conviction:
the future of sailing lies in a better balance between pleasure, autonomy and impact.
More than a technological innovation, ODSEA+ embodies an approach.
A more conscious, more responsible way of sailing, without ever giving up what matters most: sensation, movement and freedom.
Intelligence
Energy, mastered at every moment.
A dedicated software system manages all onboard energy flows in real time: propulsion, production and consumption.
This centralised control optimises performance while keeping the system simple, fluid and intuitive to use.
Silence
Rediscover the sound of the sea.
Hybrid propulsion enables near-silent navigation, significantly reducing noise and vibrations.
It enhances onboard comfort and transforms the relationship with the marine environment, both under way and at anchor.
Autonomy
Go further, more freely.
The system combines multiple energy sources: solar power, hydrogeneration and a generator.
Combined with high-capacity lithium batteries, it extends navigation time and increases independence at anchor.
Developed with French partners specialising in power electronics, energy management and marine propulsion, ODSEA+ goes beyond a simple hybrid engine. It is built on a complete ecosystem designed to operate coherently, reliably and seamlessly.
Dufour equips its ODSEA+ yachts with LFP lithium batteries.
Robust and long-lasting (over 10 years lifespan), they offer excellent resistance to marine environments and require no cooling system, ensuring safety and ease of use.
ODSEA+ relies on JOOOL hybrid propulsion technology, recognised for its reliability and performance.
It guarantees a minimum speed of 4 knots, even at low battery levels.
The system architecture, based on complementary and redundant energy sources, ensures reliability and continuity at sea.
ODSEA+ yachts generate their own energy, both under sail and at anchor.
Hydrogenerator
Under sail, the propeller generates energy continuously.
Activated at the touch of a button, the hydrogeneration system adapts to the desired level of autonomy.
Solar panels
Seamlessly integrated into the design, solar panels cover onboard energy needs throughout the day.
Depending on the model, their output can reach up to 2,000 W.
